Peter Kaiser – A Brand History:

To this day, Peter Kaiser has enjoyed success for nearly two hundred years, following its establishment in 1838. As Europe's oldest known shoe manufacturer, the company was founded in Pirmasens, Germany by entrepreneur Peter Kaiser. After just five years within the shoe manufacturing industry, Kaiser began exporting shoes over Europe and worldwide; thus enabling the company to obtain the status of being one of the first ever shoe manufacturers to achieve an international status.

From day one, the Peter Kaiser brand has prided itself on not only providing customers with creative and innovative new ideas but ensuring these are carried out with precise craftsmanship, in order to continue delivering their customers with footwear of the highest of qualities. A clear sign that the shoes aren't simply mass produced wherever possible is the continued production of the majority of their shoes in Germany. What's more, their factory is still located in Pirmasens, where the initial factory was founded, enabling Peter Kaiser to remain true to its roots. Around 750 employees are producing a million pairs of exceptional shoes, with 60% of these shoes being exported worldwide.

All of the materials used within their footwear is carefully selected and tested for durability against wear and things such as pollution. Once a last has been created, a sample shoe will be formed and tested to ensure it supports and contours correctly to the foot for exceptional comfort. Thus, if any changes are needed, these will be made before the shoes go into the final production stages.
