Van Dal Footwear – Comfort Features Inside Their Shoes

When the Van Dal brand name was born in 1946, a brand name was created that would be continually dedicated to producing shoes of style and comfort, as well as adapting their shoes for those who needed a wider fitting. Since the establishment of the Van Dal brand under the Florida Group they have continued to innovate their technologies to enhance the fit and comfort of the shoe as well as offer excellent protection features.

Ion-Mask – this is a new technology that has revolutionised the waterproof features of a shoe. The technology creates a shoe that is 'water hating' and this benefits the wearer in numerous ways:

  • Shoes maintain their high-quality for far longer.

  • The fading of colour is reduced.

  • Dirt and water are repelled, which reduces marking and staining.

  • Drier feet.

V-FIT – this technology within the shoe adds to the overall comfort of the shoe as well as improving the fit of the shoe. Shoes with the V-FIT style has a shock absorber within the heel, which reduces the stresses placed on various parts of the leg as well as reducing the tiredness felt within the lower leg. Painful pressure points that people often find on their feet after long wear of some shoes are also reduced, relieved by the memory foam pads in the shoes that feature V-FIT+. Features of these shoes include:

  • Shock-absorbing heel.

  • Removable footbed.

  • Cushioning memory foam footbed (V-FIT+ only).

The V-FIT additions add comfort to many Van Dal shoes, making it comfortable to wear those stylish shoes. This type of technology has previously been used in other specialist sports shoes and bicycle seats. It works by spreading the pressure of certain points, which reduces any pain and excess pressure on vulnerable parts.
