Many of us are looking forward to the warmer Spring months, which is why Ecco are inducing a feeling of sunshine and romance into their Seventies styled collections for Spring/Summer 2011. To create these themes within their new collection, Ecco are introducing a sense of the Scandinavian summer vintage romantic look, the nautical style and a feeling of the retro flower power.

To bring romance to the collection, Ecco are creating the natural lightness of the Scandinavian summer using a theme of clouds. The dusty colours used will reflect their theme on casual trainers and relaxed loafers for men and pretty ballerinas for the ladies.

The sea theme will be reinventing the classic nautical style with ladies sport ballerinas and men's sailor loafers, with the colours centred around white and blue. The sunrise theme will also be used, using chunky features, vintage brown leather and clogs and platform shoes, all centred around the Seventies. Desert, yellow and orange colours will dominate these styles reflecting the warmth of the summer.

Lastly, using a varied colour scheme including deep reds and green, Ecco will reflect a touch of paradise into every day life with their sandals for ladies and trainers for men.
