Josef Seibel Group Ensure Premium Quality With Increased Shoe Production in Hungary

With increasing manufacturing costs and the limited control one can have on production, Josef Seibel have announced that they are to expand their Hungarian shoe production capacity. The Josef Seibel Group will be moving parts of their manufacturing in Moldova and Asia to their production site in Csenger, Hungary.

The expansion will be costing the group a whopping €4.44 million but has created a further 80 jobs and will result in the production of 8,000 pairs of shoes a day once the production facility has reached its capacity.

The costs were spread across constructing the new production facilities, extending over 1,800 square-metres (€1.03 million) and direct injection moulding machines that were required to continue the production of their comfort soles (€3.41 million).

Speaking about the expansion, Managing Director of the Josef Seibel Group in the UK & Ireland, Martin Ingram, commented:

“The Josef Seibel Group has long been committed to producing footwear within Europe from where its original manufacturing base grew. The Company has the flexibility to relocate its production locations quickly in relation to cost differentials whilst maintaining the quality of production expected by customers and consumers alike.”

What is clear is Josef Seibel's continued dedication to ensuring only the best is constructed for their customers, giving peace of mind in the high-quality products created.
