The PGA European Tour's Omega European Masters have been won by Ecco staff player, Thomas Bjorn, who clinched the title last weekend. Ecco have also confirmed that he was wearing their World Class GTX golf shoes to this victory.

With a final round that consisted of nine birdies and an eagle, Bjorn clinched his 13th title at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club in Crans Montana, Switzerland. His latest victory gives him the prestige of potentially being the greatest Danish golf player of all time as it takes him to 7th position in the Race to Dubia and 59th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Speaking about his recent victory, Thomas Bjorn said:

“Golf feels pretty easy at the moment but that's not always the case...Any time you go out and shoot 62 on Sunday you have got to be delighted.”

Ecco have also clinched another victory for themselves as their extensive list of staff players continues to grow, including Stuart Appleby, Fred Couples, Jennifer Johnson and Graeme McDowell. This prestigious list of golf player is a testimony to the standard of golf shoes that they continue to produce.
