The R.M.Williams footwear brand was founded by Reginald Murray Williams, a man born to the outback of Southern Australia. Unafraid of hard work, Williams took on several different roles, from stone builder to camel boy for William Wade, the missionary explorer. Learning valuable skills along the way, Williams and his young family set up camp in the Gammon Ranges of South Australia where a meeting with an itinerant man, Dollar Mick, changed Williams' life. An exceptional saddler, Dollar Mick passed on his leather craftsmanship knowledge to Williams who soon began selling boots, acquiring a factory at the back of his fathers house.

Williams dedicated his life to create boots of the highest qualities, and the factory's location remained a humble one behind his fathers house until 1972. Over the years, R.M.Williams successfully built a brand of exceptional qualities, using traditional craftsmanship, designing boots of practicality and functionality.

Using the same traditions of R.M.Williams himself, whilst incorporating new innovations and technologies, R.M.Williams have produced a sensational range of boots, to include the following:

Craftsman: one of the most traditional of R.M.Williams boots, this boot is a timeless classic. Alongside the traditional crafted leather, innovative new soles of higher durability are added to ensure a boot that is comfortable, stylish and hard-wearing.

Stockyard: taking the traditional R.M.Williams boot and teaming it with exceptional resistant qualities, this is the ultimate hard-wearing boot. The Stockyard boot includes a heat, water, oil and acid resistant sole, meaning this boot is incredibly durable.

Stockman: a dressier boot of the collection, these boots incorporate the use of lighter leathers, e.g. yearling, which with polishing and maintenance provide the wearer with a boot of exceptional quality.

Ladies: with the traditional designs continued, ladies boots have been designed to include unisex designs such as the Durack ladies boot, and designs with a slightly higher stacked heel like the Kimberley ladies boot.
