As many orders can often go astray where people have fraudulently ordered an item, here at Hobson Shoes we try to reduce the amount of fraud from internet sales in an attempt to protect both our customers and our company from such activities.
For example, a stolen card can be used to order items, and the products then distributed to any address, meaning the fraudster will receive the goods. Therefore, by restricting our shipping to only verified addresses we are ensuring that the cardholder is the one ordering and receiving the goods.
Equally, when ordering to an alternative address we are aware that many parcels can be intercepted and stolen, something far too many people have experienced when waiting for delivered goods. Therefore we are unable to deliver to some business addresses as too many people can intercept the parcel. However, if you contact us with the alternative address we will endeavour, where possible, to deliver to this alternative address.
Examples of business addresses where we will not deliver to are:
* Schools/Colleges/Universities
* University Halls of Residence
* Hospitals
* Hotels
* Other places we feel a parcel can be intercepted by too many people.
Again, this remains at our discretion.
You can get addresses verified by PayPal, which we will then ship to, but we will only ship PayPal orders to verified addresses. For card orders, we will only deliver to the cardholders address.
