When entering a discount code upon checkout, you need to click “Apply” for the discount code to be applied and once entered you should be taken to a new summary of your account which has taken off the relevant amount:

If the amount remains the same and no discount is applied you will need to check the following:
* The discount code is still valid. Our discount codes have valid to dates issued on them; check the bottom of the e-mail or the small print of promotional codes for these dates, they are normally two weeks from issue. However, your Thanks Code has NO expiry date.
* The discount code has been entered correctly (please remember they are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as they appear.) One way to ensure that the code is entered in the same way is to just copy and paste the code from the e-mail/promotion.
* You have ordered something that is applicable to our discount code terms and conditions. For example, some discount codes will only be available on orders over a certain amount, and may only apply to footwear items.
* You have only used one voucher code for your order.
* You haven't used the discount code more than once.

If you have checked all of the above and are finding that still no discount is being applied, check that the screen isn't as follows:

If your screen is showing this your session may have timed out, which means your basket has been emptied. This is an automatic action on websites to help protect peoples details, should they leave themselves logged in accidentally on public computers and so on. If this is the case you will need to go back and re-add the item to your basket and you may need to sign in again.
