We offer FREE DELIVERY for all orders within the UK, subject to a minimum spend of £30.00. There will be a standard delivery charge of £2.50 for any orders placed under £30.00.
All orders received before 1pm will be processed the same day. We aim to dispatch all items on a NEXT DAY DELIVERY service, however some items will be marked as a 2-4 DAY DELIVERY due to the location of the warehouse.
Our courier deliver Monday- Friday and the timescale quoted is for working days only.
Shipping To An Alternative Address
We only ship to the card holders address as held by your card issuer or bank and cannot ship to an alternative residential address.
If required, and subject to the discretion of Hobson Shoes, we may be able to dispatch to a work address. If dispatching to a work address you do so at your own risk - you must be confident that the address is secure and accept all responsibily for the parcel once it has been signed for at that address. Once the item has been signed for at the given address, Hobson Shoes will deem it to be delivered to you and no longer accept responsibility for the item.
Your item will not be dispatched to the address if you have not agreed to our delivery terms and conditions located in our cart. We cannot accept alternative delivery addresses for any order paid for through Paypal.
Please note: for all UK orders paying through Paypal we are only able to ship to the confirmed UK address shown on your Paypal account.
For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Scilly Isle your items will be dispatched via Royal Mail. Although Royal Mail endeavour to deliver next day, please allow 48 hours for delivery as this is not guaranteed.

Please note: due to new health and safety guidelines, our Customer Service Team can no longer inspect an item that is returned soiled, and must return the product to you.
Method Of Payment
Strictly payment with order. Hobson Shoes accepts UK orders online by using our own cart or Paypal. All orders placed outside the UK will be required to pay using Paypal.
Credit or debit card orders (our cart): Your card will only be charged with the sum due for any goods despatched on that day. Any items awaiting shipment will not be charged for until dispatch.
Hobson Shoes accepts orders by phone using credit or debit card.
Your credit card statement will show transaction as "BAWTRY SHOE COMPANY". Paypal orders will show transaction as "HOBSON & BATES SHOES LIMITED".
Due to the high levels of stock held by our company from time to time, there may be small errors in our stock availability displayed. This is inevitable and unavoidable in any system and also may be influenced by damage to stock and or errors made by manufacturers which are beyond our control. Should items be unavailable it is both unreasonable and impossible for the company to be held at fault. We cannot accept any responsibility for possible consequential losses or perceived loss by the customer regardless of our high standards of customer service.

Goods becoming faulty after usage should be returned to Hobson Shoes immediately. Hobson Shoes will either replace or, if applicable, repair as necessary. Hobson Shoes has a reputation for dealing in the very best branded goods and has the security of the manufacturer behind it.
Claims regarding faulty goods will be assessed by Hobson Shoes and Hobson Shoes will adjudge the claim taking into account the age, amount of usage, correct care and maintenance by the customer etc. All claims will be subject to 'Fair Wear and Tear' with regards to the purpose in which the goods are intended. Hobson Shoes's decision is final. Should the claim be deemed faulty by Hobson Shoes in respect of defective workmanship or materials, Hobson Shoes will offer to replace or refund the payment made. Hobson Shoes is liable for nothing more than the contract price of the goods which are the subject of the complaint.

Fair Returns Policy
If you decide to return an unwanted item purchased from Hobson Shoes (subject to our standard terms of return), it must be returned to us in an unworn, undamaged and re-saleable condition. The box must not be defaced, written upon or deliberately damaged. The item purchased must show no signs of wear, trying on or deliberate damage. Please think of the next customer at all times, should you decide not to keep your item.
Subject to the discretion of Hobson Shoes and with prior arrangement, we may decide to accept an item back with minimal defacing/damage to the packaging. In this instance we currently operate a re-boxing charge of £5.95.
All worn shoes returned to us on the preference of the customer shall be returned at customers cost. We do not offer free returns.
If you are returning an unworn and undamaged item to us for an exchange we will ship out the exchange to you with Free UK Delivery (subject to standard shipping terms), once we have received your initial item back.

The spirit and intention of our Membership Offer Scheme is to enhance the membership experience on our website. Prices displayed as 'Members Price' are shown as web offers and may not be honoured at any other point of sale; including any of our group stores. All prices shown on our website are 'Web Offers'. Prices are not intended to be transferable or comparable to store price.
No questions asked as long as the item returned is unsoiled and unworn in its original box. Please see trying on and returns advice further down this page.
Our 14 day exchange policy only applies to online purchases. You might not like the colour or fit of your purchase, or you may have just changed your mind, no problem.
If you return an item you can choose between a:

Shipment & Exchange Policy
We will ship all orders to our customers free of charge (UK customers only, subject to a minimum spend of £30.00). Any return is at the customers own cost and risk, but we will always then exchange any item free of charge again (please adhere to our 14 day exchange policy). For items returned when a delivery charge has been applied, you will receive the cost of the shoe refunded, less any delivery charge.
Returning An Item

» If there is a problem with the item, then please describe the problem - and which shoe.
» You may want to consider insuring the item in transit.
» When the item has been returned and approved, we will refund the credit card you originally used. Please note: this may take upto 10 working days to show in your account.
» If it is an exchange, we'll refund or charge your card the difference - whichever is required. There will be no charge if the item is of the same value. We simply despatch it as soon as we can (usually the same day if in stock).

Trying On Products At Home
Please stand on a clean surface - this should be a carpet or similar, soft area. Do not walk upon gravel, pavements, garage floors, drives, the first tee, or any other abrasive surfaces which may render the shoe unsaleable. Do not walk accross your garden or to the post box, for example. A quick drive in your shoes, should you decide not to keep them, is neither fair or acceptable.
Please return your shoes in their original box. Re-use the original wrapping or re-wrap the product (even in a bin liner). Do not send a shoe box through the post unwrapped - for security reasons. Please do not write on or deface the box or we my be forced to either return the item to you or charge a re-boxing and refurbishment fee.
In brief, we would like you to treat your purchase, before you have decided to keep them, in the same way that we love and respect the product we sell. Think of the next person who may wish to purchase these shoes. Worn shoes are of little or no value- we cannot accept their return at the preference of the customer.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an unconditional guarantee nor an unconditional guarantee as to waranty or comfort. Damaged, worn or abused shoes will be returned and may be subject to costs charged to the customer and will be subject to a return fee.
We really want you to be satisfied with your shoes. If any item is not in perfect condition when it arrives then please call us straight away on and we'll do our level best to fix the problem and explain exactly what we'll do to help. Please keep the packaging, and do not wear or use the item.
